Under the creative and experienced direction of head Chef, Calvin Harrison, the menu offers seasonal dishes, prepared with the finest locally sourced ingredients. Whether you're wanting to enjoy a fine dining experience or simply fancy unwinding in a comfy chair with a coffee and light bite, there is something to suit all tastes. Guests may dine in bar or lounges with their four-legged friends by special arrangement or alternatively, your pooch may relax in your room whilst you dine in the restaurant. If you fancy venturing out for food, we recommend Wateredge Inn, Ambleside or Angel Inn where four-legged friends are welcome!

Perfect!
From the friendly, helpful staff to the beautiful location, every part of our stay was excellent . The evening meal was a special highlight with delicious food served to a high standards all round. We were lucky, the sun shone throughout our stay, so we could enjoy long lazy lunches on the patio, overlooking the lake followed by a gentle stroll round the grounds to the lake side.
We had a bed breakfast and evening meal package, with welcoming bottle of Prosecco, which was great value and provided a proper treat for all our party of 6. Every member of staff played their part in ensuring our stay was a great success- a real gem, we will stay at Cragwood again..
