Enjoyed our stay.
Really nice location. Food was nice good options especially on the breakfast. I put good for customer service because at check kn we were told we couldn't nook an Uber as they didn't work around the area and had to book a local taxi. But once in Bowness I looked on the App and we could book Uber which was half the price of local taxi. We were also not told where we needed to be for meals so had to ask the question later. But I did click on helpful staff as one of the Bar lads (Brad I think his name is) was really helpful.
Hotel was clean and friendly staff. Lovely location next to the lake. I can imagine it having lovely views in the Summer. Plenty parking spaces.
Excellent stay.
The hotel was lovely in a quiet location on the shores of lake Windermere. The staff were friendly, helpful and they couldn't do enough for you. The restaurant food was very impressive too. We had a great stay!
our February short break
This is our second time in the Cragwood, because all the staff and really friendly and if you have any
problems Brian will sort it out as quickly as he can. The restaurant staff from Brad, Jack and Sarah what a friendly group and super food, and if there is something not on the menu as them can they get you for example I ask for soup and got beautiful potato and leek soup which as I say was not on the menu.
Yes we will come back for sure
