Best Overnight Stay Ever)to
Relaxation central
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cragwood and cannot thank the staff enough, food was delicious better than some Michelin restaurants I have visited.
Two day break
We stayed for two nights in October to celebrate our wedding anniversary quietly and peacefully.
The hotel was pleasant , with a superb location, and wonderful gardens and walks. The staff were courteous and friendly. But the evening dinner with the seven course taster menu was superb, good choice and on each of our two nights we chose different courses. We could not fault a single one, beautifully presented, and all tasted divine. We have celebrated our wedding anniversary with a private weekend break at multiple locations throughout the UK for over forty years, and have not enjoyed better food anywhere. We will certainly be returning.Only one small inconvenience was the number of stairs for a geriatric old codger. Next time we will book earlier to have a better choice of room location
