Fantastic stay
My husband and I had a lovely time at the Swan. The staff were super friendly and attentive and couldn t have been more helpful . The room we had was beautiful, lovely old beams and spotlessly clean. We had breakfast and dinner in the restaurant both days and were impressed with the staff and cuisine.
Our Stay In Suffolk
My Wife and I decided to take a relatively last minute break in Suffolk after a gap of around 30 years since our last visit. We spent 5 days in a cottage and finished our week in The Swan. We found the hotel on the internet and chose Lavenham because we had vague memories of the fabulous buildings. The Swan exceeded all our expectations. The staff were brilliant, the food outstanding. We could not have chosen anywhere better to spend a 45th wedding anniversary - the card and decorated cakes were greatly appreciated. Very many thanks from us both.
My two night stay at The Swan
My daughter and I were very happy with our choice of hotel, the bedrooms were very comfortable and the lounges were nicely furnished and there was a very nice atmosphere throughout. I particularly enjoyed the choice of food on the dinner menu, everything I had was delicious and beautifully presented, I was not quite so keen on the breakfasts, especially as my choice of cereal arrived in the bowl with a lot of milk poured on it on the first day, and the toast was cold and limp.
However, it was an excellent experience to stay at The Swan. I was slightly puzzled to find the museum and shops opened quite late in the morning in Lavenham, we were hoping to potter around the town before going off to visit friends.
