When the opportunity to work alongside fashion trailblazer Henry Holland on an exclusive pet collection came up, it was a project PetsPyjamas could not wait to start on!

Drawing inspiration from House of Holland’s Autumn/Winter 15 collection – our exclusive range of petwear, accessories and beds, unsurprisingly, also has a doggie muse – Henry Holland’s gorgeous and mischievous French Bulldog Peggy, no less!

“Bringing Peggy into our lives changed us in so many ways that only other pet owners would understand. She brightens our lives every day,” says Henry Holland.

“She is an attention seeking drama queen, and so who better to be the face of the House of Holland and PetsPyjamas collection. It helps that she’s a looker too!”

In case you haven’t seen it already, the sole focus of House of Holland’s ready-to-wear AW15 collection was being a badass – the same attitude Peggy and our collection encompasses.

Uptown street urchins from a futuristic world rode down the conveyor belt runway – walking is so 2014 after all – in a mixture of loud tartan and striped prints with dashes of Mongolian lamb shearling.

And like House of Holland’s ready-to-wear collection, PetsPyjamas joint range reflects the same playful personality. Designed with the urban canine in mind – the tartan fabric used in the label’s AW15 showcase makes up our exclusive collection of collars, leads, jackets, blankets and doza beds, and is a recolouring of House of Holland’s signature print used back in 2008.

PetsPyjamas have previously worked with Peggy – and Henry – before in early 2014 on The Company of Dogs, an exhibition that celebrated man’s best friend. Despite only being four months old at the time, as Peggy struck poses for her featured portrait, it was clear to all that she had star quality!

PetsPyjamas CEO Gracia Amico said, “We were aware of Henry’s love for dogs and when we asked him if he wanted to design a dog collar for us he answered by saying he wanted to design a whole range for us! We love Henry’s designs and fabrics plus his wonderful personality and felt this would be a match made in heaven for PetsPyjamas.”
