Wonderful hotel!
We stayed for a night on an offpeakluxury offer so it was amazing value! The staff were all lovely, we were upgraded to a huge family room with a picture window with a lake view. We chose to keep our bottle of prosecco to have with our evening meal, which was superb. We were given complimentary tea and scones, there were roaring fires in the bar and lounge, and views over the gardens and lake. The only problem we had was the room was too warm and had no thermostat, but it didn't spoil our stay. I would recommend it to anyone wanting a luxury stay on Lake Windermere.

The hotel was lovely in a quiet location on the shores of lake Windermere.The staff were friendly, helpful and they couldn't do enough for you. The restaurant food was very impressive too. We had a great stay!
