Barking Bake Off: Nikki Tibbles’ Doggie’s Dinner

Our friend Nikki Tibbles, celebrated London florist and founder of one of our favourite dog rescue charities, The Wild At Heart foundation, gave us this healthy recipe she serves to her lovely rescue dogs. 

 

 

Nikki Tibbles’ Ultimate Dog’s Dinner Recipe

 

Whether it be for a special occassion, or just a Sunday lunch, you and your furry friend can dine together with this fantastic dog’s dinner recipe. 

 

Ingredients:

  • 300g brown rice
  • 120g spinach
  • 2 carrots, shredded
  • 1 broccoli chopped 
  • 70g peas, canned or frozen

 

 

Method: 

  1. In a large saucepan cook rice according to package instructions; set aside.
  2. Add a splash of oil to the pan. Stir in spinach, carrots, broccoli peas and brown rice until the spinach has wilted and the mixture is heated through, about 3-5 minutes.
  3. Let cool completely.
  4. Enjoy!
