Perfect for those looking for a charming and authentic dog-friendly stay in the center of Bath, Harington’s Hotel is a boutique-style hotel comprising three Georgian townhouses tucked away on a delightful cobbled lane in the heart of the city. All the rooms are individually designed - stylish, quirky, and dog-friendly,  with doggy blankets, towels treats, and toys!  There is a cosy breakfast room and bar where your dog can join you and masses of dog-friendly cafes and restaurants close by. The Roman Baths, thermae Spa, and Pump room are all nearby plus many dog-friendly attractions including the fabulous Royal Victoria Park next door to the Royal Crescent and the stunning Bath Skyline walk. There’s also a hot tub to relax in after a busy day of sightseeing with your best furry friend.

Dine with Your Dog

Although the hotel doesn’t have a formal dining room as such it does offer a cooked breakfast in the breakfast room. You can dine with your dog there in the bar area where they may even be offered a sneaky sausage or two. Eating out is easy as Bath is extremely dog-friendly with lots of restaurants and cafes close by. The hotel recommends eating at nearby dog-friendly Hall & Woodhouse, a chic restaurant and bar, formally an auction house, which is also famous for its Sunday roasts.  If you would rather leave your four-legged friend in the room you can do so.

Each room is individually designed and offer a home from home feel. The beds feature the finest Egyptian cotton with individually sprung high-quality mattresses. Take your dog along with you to see the stunning Royal Crescent just 10 minutes walk away and then afterward to the fabulous Royal Victoria Park - a beautiful expanse of green parkland spanning 57 acres. Then explore the National Trust’s Bath Skyline Walk with stunning views across the city. Another great walk is the picturesque Kennet and Avon Canal walk via Sydney Gardens. The canal weaves its way through the valley to Bradford on Avon and beyond.
