Hotel VARA is an dog-friendly boutique B&B in a classic townhouse in Truro. The B&B is in one of the best and leafiest areas, a five minute walk from the city centre, including Truro Cathedral and The Hall For Cornwall. The hotel’s interiors have a Scandinavian vibe and there’s a warm and welcoming atmosphere which extends to four legged friends too. There’s a relaxed help yourself morning ‘more than’ continental buffet breakfast - think boiled eggs, waffles & red fruits. And the bar serves & light bites & artisan pizzas.

Its central location makes it perfect for exploring. There are local dog friendly beaches and country walks surrounding Truro. Visit the nearby National Trust Trelissick Estate, and take a ferry trip to Falmouth. If you are heading further afield the north and south coasts are within a 20 minute drive.

Great location close to beaches of the North Coast and the coves of the South Coast for leisurely dog walks. Lots of doggie touches including a special doggie wash station for muddy paws after a long walk. Towels and shampoo are available.

There is also a seperate breakfast area for doggies and their human guests. Or if you prefer you can leave your dog in the room while you enjoy breakfast, or tapas boards & pizzas in the evening. There is a good selection of local beers, ales, Cornish gins & some great wines available by the glass & bottle.
