About this property

Originally a 15th-century weaver’s cottage, dog-friendly The Lamb Inn in Oxfordshire is a wonderful dog-friendly escape that has seen generations of visitors succumb to its old-world charms. Walk into the entrance hall where you will be met by the warmth of an open log fire and the grandfather cloth that stands proudly in the corner. Settle into your gorgeous room where you can sink into a cushioned armchair with a book and one of the chef's homemade flapjacks. Lie back on the bed or take a soak in the bath with the luxury Molton Brown products for the ultimate moment of relaxation. Individually designed with a beautiful collection of stylish fabrics and antique furnishings, your room comes with all of the creature comforts you could wish for, including your own Nespresso machine for a superb start to the day. Dine in the 2 AA rosette restaurant where a delicious menu of seasonal plates of food is served, prepared using the very best of local produce. The bar offers a wonderfully relaxed way to dine and four-legged friends are welcome to join you. With open fires and many armchairs to sink into, books and papers to read, board games to be played and good food to be eaten, you will feel instantly at home at The Lamb Inn. Located in the historic town of Burford, this quintessential Cotswold inn is the perfect place for you to relax, switch off and enjoy lots of local walks with your canine companion.

Dine with Your Dog

Enjoy seasonal dishes made from nothing but locally sourced ingredients at The Lamb Inn’s 2AA rosette restaurant. Dogs are not permitted to join you in the restaurant, however, you are welcome to leave your pooch in your room to relax whilst you dine – just remember to leave the ‘do not disturb’ sign hanging on the door! If your four-legged friend wants to join you, the staff will set you up to dine in the bar. Fancy trying other locally sourced dishes? There are some other local pubs in Burford that allow dogs.

Bow wow factor

The Blenheim Palace Gardens are only a short drive away (and are dog-friendly!) as is the Cotswold Wildlife Park. Dog bowls and a feeding mat will also be provided for your pet!
