The Ancient Houses Commission recently dendro-chronologically dated the timbers of Hen Dy holiday cottage to be from 1550. A very good local pub is just a mile away from the cottage on the main road. To the west, the Llyn Peninsula offers many coves, harbours and vast stretches of safe, sandy beaches. Black Rock sands is the closest. The coast path is 84 miles of diverse landscapes including open countryside, wild heath and coastal features. Hen Dy can be booked together with Ty Hir (QC925) to accommodate up to 8 guests.
