Overview

Pensarn Hall is a superb, imposing, Victorian property, located in Llanbedr, set in private gardens, in the Snowdonia National Park, with easy access to the beaches of the North Wales coast. The location of this Llanbedr holiday home is truly idyllic; slightly elevated, this wonderful large house benefits from views across the valley, down to the Artro River estuary, Pensarn Harbour and coast, all less than 10 minutes' walk away. This Llanbedr cottage offers seven large bedrooms, all with en-suite facilities, making it ideal for friends and families alike. There is a spacious drawing room with woodburner, which is ideal to relax and socialise in, while the stately dining room is able to seat 16 guests comfortably for dinner, and with an open fire, it is cosy and homely. After dinner, the dining table can be converted into a ¾ size Victorian slate bed snooker table for some friendly, family fun, or alternatively, you could retire through to the library with its woodburner, or relax in the conservatory, which overlooks the gardens. Pensarn Hall retains many original features, such as a wood-panelled, Minton tiled hallway, the original servant bells, architraves, cornices, sash windows with lead lights, and even a Victorian decorated Thunderbox toilet! Outside, the grounds are extensive, offering secret gardens, a games lawn with croquet and numerous shaded seating areas in which to relax and enjoy the beautiful countryside, maybe you'll even see a steam train running between Barmouth and Harlech on the local line. This Llanbedr cottage is a fantastic property to escape from daily life and step back in time, relaxing with friends and family for the perfect memorable holiday.

    Location

    Directions
Situated between The Rhinogs - part of the Snowdonia Mountains - and the glorious golden beaches of the North Wales coastline is the lovely village of Llanbedr. Close to the swiftly flowing River Artro, this wonderful little settlement boasts a mild climate and exciting array of wildlife and birds including soaring buzzards. There is also a great selection of local shops and an excellent pub. With its 13th century castle widely regarded as the most impressive built by Edward I in Wales, the nearby town of Harlech is worth visiting. Also popular with golfers, this quaint little destination is famous for the Royal St. David's course as well as a variety of good quality restaurants. For a wider variety of amenities, Barmouth is close by and offers an amazing Panorama Walk as well as a ferry to Fairbourne, a miniature railway and boat trips out to sea so that visitors can try their hand at mackerel fishing.
