The lovely market town of Machynlleth is just 6 miles away with its wide high street and variety of independent shops, pubs and restaurants. Aberdovey is a thriving seaside fishing village with brightly painted houses which seem to cling to the shoreline and has a history dating back hundreds of years. It offers miles of beautiful golden sandy beaches with a fantastic selection of water-based activities including sailing, fishing and windsurfing. Golfers are also well catered for with an 18-hole championship golf course located at the western end of the village, which welcomes visiting players.
