The dog-friendly Talbot has impressive architecture, stands majestically in the center of the delightful market town of Oundle - full of old-world charm. It dates back to the 7th century and its oldest building is medieval in design with a modified 16-century gallery. The hotel is famous for its stone mullion windows and timber staircase overlooking the inner courtyard. The staircase is believed to be the one descended down by Mary Queen of Scots on route to her execution. The hotel features very cosy comfortable rooms but with a contemporary style and your dog can dine with you in the cosy bar or charming courtyard in the warmer months.
