The park also boasts an 18-hole golf course, which makes its way through mature woodland, negotiating no less than 9 lakes, with a bar and restaurant about ½ mile walk. There is excellent coarse and fly fishing nearby, with 15 lakes within a 5-mile radius of Louth (permit required). The nearby Georgian market town of Louth has a good selection of shops, pubs and restaurants, as well as a cinema and the Meridian Leisure Centre to enjoy. The seal breeding grounds at Donna Nook are about a 20-minute drive and are always worth a day out in breeding season. The traditional seaside resorts of Mablethorpe and Sutton-on-Sea are about a 20-minute drive to the east, with miles of quiet sandy beaches to explore. Beach 14 miles.
