1) The Bear of Rodborough, Gloucestershire

Set amid 300 acres of National Trust land, this former 17c coaching inn is both stylish and super dog-friendly, offers excellent food and is situated on Rodborough Common with rambling hills and fabulous dog walks on the doorstep.

Their Christmas package includes three nights in a double or twin room including afternoon tea, a Champagne reception and four-course dinner on Christmas Eve followed by Midnight mass, hot chocolate and cookies.  On Christmas Day enjoy Bucks Fizz and presents by the fire followed by a traditional Christmas lunch.
