Fishing can be found 2 miles away at Brick Yard Lakes in Amotherby (at additional cost). The famous market towns of both Malton and Helmsley are only a few minutes’ drive away. Both offer market days around the cobbled squares at their centres as well as a great array of shops to wander in and too many cafés and restaurants to mention. The ancient walled city of York with its beautiful minster and award winning-attractions is only a 20-minute drive away.
