West Woodburn is a small village with a friendly pub, 1¼ miles, and small post office, set right on the edge of the glorious Northumberland National Park, yet has easy access all over the county.

Travel over to Hadrian’s Wall and stop off at some Roman forts or visit the historic little town of Corbridge or the larger town of Hexham. Even the coast is less than an hour’s drive should you wish to spend a day at the beaches. Alnwick Castle, home to the Duke of Northumberland is just under an hour away where you can spend a day looking round the magnificent castle or the Duchess water gardens.
