Perfect for furry companions, the Guesthouse is situated just 20 metres from the beach which is dog-friendly year round and is on the South West Coast path - perfect for Fido-friendly strolls. A former Georgian coaching inn, it offers wonderful Georgian features but with a modern twist. The Georgian features have been lovingly restored whilst recent renovation provides a unique home with a touch of luxury. There are three gorgeous bedrooms with sea views and top-notch pubs and restaurants on the doorstep. A wonderful art gallery is next door and massage, art classes and babysitting can be arranged. The perfect escape from city living, Westcroft Guesthouse is the perfect dog-friendly escape!

There are three wonderful pet-friendly suites for you and your four-legged friends. Dog beds, towels, bowels and blankets are provided as standard, and toys and extra leads can be provided on request. The Four Poster Suite covers the entire first floor of the house. It has its own private sea facing lounge, extensive DVD library and book library featuring books on anything from architecture and design to art, interiors, music, fashion. Hours may be lost here! The four-poster bedroom has hand printed wallpaper from Manulo Canovas and French bed linen. The adjoining shower room has a large walk-in shower and specially commissioned wallpaper. The most private and romantic room is the Clocktower Suite. Situated high up in the eaves of the house, one can lie in the French antique double bed and gaze at the stars, or drift away in the large claw-foot bath and listen to the sea. Romantic as it is, we don't suggest this room to very tall guests or very large dogs due to the eaves. The Penlee suite is a very tranquil and restful room and features a deep claw-foot bath and lovely toiletries. The adjoining bedroom has a six foot six bed and antique furniture.

Your pooch will love frolicking on the year round, dog-friendly beach just a few steps away or exploring the South West coast path - its a doggie delight! The Westcroft is ideally situated near excellent dog-friendly cafes and pubs like the The Devonport Inn. We recommend travelling down by train - to Plymouth (just three hours), taking the ferry and being met by the owner. There is so much to do once you are there you won't want to go anywhere else.
