This barn itself dates back to 1402 and was built to produce cider for the hunting lodge when Owain Glyndwr, the only native Welshman to hold the title ’Prince of Wales’, was at war with Henry IV. Indeed, the property is thought to have been built specifically for him and there are many original features that have been retained.
