The Coach House sits privately in the grounds of Morland Hall, near Penrith in the Eden Valley. Enter the grounds through the automatic gates and follow the road up to the grand Morland Hall on your left and there is woodland to your right. When you enter this wonderful property there is a wide hallway with multiple doors to the spacious living/dining area with high ceilings, large TV and wood burning stove. There is a second lounge that comes off the kitchen with a large Smart TV and Sky. It has a multi fuel stove and the seating incorporates a double sofa bed for extra guests or the kids and an ensuite with bath and walk in shower. Leading up the stairs there is a mezzanine bedroom with a king size bed. Walk through to the games room where many an evening will be enjoyed challenging each other on one of the games consoles or board games. The kitchen area is fully equipped to create sumptuous feasts or snacks and spend quality time for your family and friends. There are four main bedrooms on the first floor: three with super kingsize beds, one with a kingsize bed, and each room has a different theme and a private en-suite bath, shower, and toilet facilities.
The outside space offers a few different areas. The patio area that traps the sun all day has seating and a large, wood-fired hot tub. The large garden offers a second patio area, has a large lawn area and a wood chipped play area, ideal for kids, with a sunken trampoline and play items, this area has multiple seating arrangements, plus a large BBQ. A fabulous place to spend time with your friends and family there is something for everyone!
Morland is positioned in the Eden Valley and just over 10 miles to the north and south Lake District to enjoy days out hiking, ferry cruises or shopping. Alternatively, you can stay closer to home and enjoy the Eden Valley that consists of lots of small villages with locally run pubs and cafés and excellent walking and cycling routes from the front door.

Situated in small, charming village of Alverstoke in the borough of Gosport. Windbrake House is just a 10-minute walk from the village where there is a convenience shop, a post office, a Chinese restaurant and take-away, fish and chip shop, hairdressers and gift shop. There is a south facing garden to the front of the property, and the owner thoughtfully provides complimentary toiletries. There is an excellent bistro on the front at Stokes Bay which serves home cooked food at reasonable prices with big portions!

There is always something to see at Stokes Bay. The Solent, between the Isle of Wight and Stokes Bay, is used by all manner of boats, ships and water sports including Cowes Week, naval reviews, cruise liners, America’s Cup, P1 Powerboat racing, Fast Net departure and American aircraft carriers, to name a few!

Stoke’s Bay also has two cafés as well as a wine bar and a free splash park for children. There is also a leisure centre and ice-rink a short drive away. It takes 7 minutes to drive to Gosport harbour front where there is a long-stay car park (at cost) and with a return passenger ferry ticket across Portsmouth Harbour you can soon spend a quality day at either the naval dockyard or at Gunwharf Quays, a retail outlet with many designer stores, restaurants, bowling alley and multi-screen cinema and Portsmouth Spinnaker Tower, both located close to the ferry terminal.
From Portsmouth Harbour there are fabulous views to be enjoyed on a promenade to Southsea and Old Portsmouth where you can enjoy excellent pubs beside the fish market whilst watching the fishing boats or catch the hovercraft to the Isle of Wight. From the Portsmouth side you can also take the car or go as a passenger to the Isle of Wight with Wightlink Ferries or take a harbour tour as part of the dockyard visit or from Gunwharf Quays.

The beautiful Fylde coast can be reached in around 15 minutes including Thornton Cleveleys with its old fashioned charm and promenade, Fleetwood with the Freeport Outlet Shopping Village and of course the razzle, dazzle, glitz and glamour of Blackpool. To name a few of the many Blackpool attractions you have the famous Tower and Ballroom, Blackpool Zoo, the Pleasure Beach, Coral Island, the Sea Life Centre and Madame Tussauds. Aside from being accessible for the coast, the location is also well-placed for exploring rural Lancashire. The Ribble Valley, Forest of Bowland AONB, the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales National Parks can all be reached around an hour. The city of Lancaster is just 16 miles away and Preston 18 miles. The city of Cambridge is 10 miles away, famous for its colleges, museums, tours and botanical gardens, where visitors can also try their hand at punting on the River Cam or enjoy a wealth of shops, cafés and restaurants. The city of Ely with markets and local shopping is 6 miles away in the other direction, steeped in history with its impressive medieval cathedral and long river frontage where you can enjoy a boat trip or riverside walk. If you fancy a trip to the beach the North Norfolk coast is less than 50 miles away, the Royal Sandringham Estate less than 40 miles, and Thetford Forest, famous for its walk and cycle routes only 35 miles away. National Trust properties can be found at nearby Wicken Fen, 5 miles, and Anglesey Abbey and gardens 13 miles. Newmarket is also 13 miles with music nights and race days, and the Imperial War Museum at Duxford 24 miles, so there is plenty of scope if you feel like exploring the area during your stay.
