    Lesnewth is a magical hamlet with an ancient church and a scattering of farms.
    The Leat was completed just a few years ago and this beautiful barn conversion is a spacious and very well presented property. Set out in reverse style, the first floor has a large open plan living room, dining room and kitchen with a lovely high ceiling and exposed beams. The main living area is kept snug and cosy with a wood burning stove and is furnished with two comfortable sofa beds. All the bedrooms are spacious with pine floors.     Fairview (CWC561946) is a reverse level, semi-detached cottage with an entrance on the first floor and a large living/dining room, a cosy wood-burning stove, there is a west-facing conservatory down a couple of steps with sofa and access to a small private garden. A family bedroom on the first floor provides a level living area for those with a mobility issue. On the ground floor are further bedrooms and a family bathroom. Barn Cottage (CWC562587) is also a reverse level, semi-detached cottage with two bedrooms on the ground floor.
    This is a real farm experience, fresh free-range eggs are available from the owners, and there are a number of walks across the delightful 150 acres. This is a dog-friendly property however please note that it is a working Beef and Sheep farm, so dogs must be kept under control.
    Further along the coast is Sandymouth, a large beach ideal for families due to its lovely sand, rock pools and tea rooms. A short drive north over the border into Devon leads to the quaint village of Hartland which has a magnificent church with an amazing painted ceiling and one of the tallest towers in England. Hartland Quay has a hotel and Wreckers Bar as the coast here is littered with wrecks and is a lovely spot for some lunch. Also well worth a visit is the world-famous fishing village of Clovelly. The cobbled, traffic-free, high street is built into a cleft in a 400’ high cliff and tumbles its way down past whitewashed cottages festooned with flowers to the tiny working port. Beach 2 miles.
