The lodge-style holiday homes, which are on a small touring caravan site (open Easter to October), provide bright and comfortable detached accommodation, very close to the beautiful north coast of Cornwall. A large private deck provides a great space to enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner as the sun sets, a perfect end to a day out at the beach or walking the local coastal path. Yonder Green is a small hamlet close to Padstow but a million miles away from the hustle and bustle.

They are ideally situated to enjoy all that this area has to offer, including the South West Coastal Path and the sandy bays which are ideal for walkers and surfers, or for those enjoying a family day on the beach. Close by is the coastal resort of Padstow, home to TV chef Rick Stein and Michelin starred chef Paul Ainsworth, and is the jewel in the crown of this stunning county. The narrow lanes are full of great shops, cafés, bars, pubs and restaurants. Enjoy a pasty or ice cream on the quayside as the boats bob around in the harbour, but watch the seagulls - they love a pasty! The ferry to Rock, Daymer Bay and Polzeath is a great way to explore and sails from the quayside during the day.

The Camel Estuary is in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and can be explored by walkers, cyclists and horse riders using the Camel Trail which follows the estuary. Also within easy reach are the coastal villages of Port Isaac, where the TV series ‘Doc Martin’ was filmed, Tintagel, the legendary home of King Arthur, and the lovely inlet of Boscastle. There are several beautiful bays a few miles away including Porthcothan, Watergate Bay and Harlyn Sands. Newquay is just down the coast and offers shops, pubs and restaurants as well as the Blue Reef Aquarium, Newquay Zoo and the famous surfing beach at Fistral.

The area around Yonder Green is surrounded by golf courses, from the links course at Trevone and the Point at Polzeath, to St Enedoc, all great courses to experience. Beach 4 miles. Sailing, canoeing, surfing, spas, karting and horse riding are all available nearby. There is a selection of shops and a garage at St Merryn 3½ miles away. Churchtown Cottage is a charming Cornish retreat situated in the picturesque village of Cubert, dominated by a beautiful 14th-century church and conveniently located just 4¾ miles from Newquay. Given the cottage’s age, be mindful of the low ceiling upon entering the property and the low ceiling when descending the stairs—while the rest of the property poses no issue. The owner has thoughtfully renovated the cottage, preserving original features such as exposed stone walls, authentic slate flooring, and a fireplace with a wood burner.
Outside, a covered area provides a tranquil spot for reading or enjoying your morning coffee, while a larger table on the patio invites al fresco dining. Across from the magnificent church, fields offer an ideal space for dog walking and children to play. Along the main road, you’ll find a fantastic fish and chip shop, a bakery with a café, a convenience shop, and a post office. Just a mile away, a local pub with an impressive reputation offers a variety of dishes to suit all tastes.
Churchtown Cottage is surrounded by the stunning beaches of Crantock, Holywell Bay, and Polly Joke, eliminating the need for extensive travel to reach the coast. For surfing enthusiasts, Fistral Beach in Newquay and Perranporth are easily accessible. After a day at the beach, rinse off the sand under the outdoor heated shower, and take advantage of ample space in the garden for storing wetsuits and bodyboards.

This detached, pet-friendly holiday lodge has been tastefully furnished and is just a short walk from the quaint Cornish village of St Teath, with its village pub and store. There is a decked veranda with country views, which is ideal for a morning coffee or alfresco dining. There are a variety of walks from the lodge, and you are ideally placed to visit some of the many attractions that this area has to offer, including many sandy, surfing beaches. A short drive away is the fishing village of Port Isaac, made famous by the TV series ’Doc Martin’, Tintagel, the mythical home of King Arthur, and the small harbour village of Boscastle. Padstow, with its array of shops, pubs and restaurants, including Rick Stein’s fish restaurant, is close by. Pennard is a spacious detached bungalow, built around a central courtyard, just two miles from the north coast and beaches of Portreath, Godrevy and Gwithian. Seagull Cottage is a mid-terrace holiday home in a superb location with delightful sea views and just a stone’s throw from Portreath’s sandy beach and harbour. Portreath is a seaside village on the beautiful North Cornish coast. Set in a deep valley alongside the rugged, popular surfing beach which is watched over by the local Surf Life Saving Club, and is ideal for swimming and watersports.

There are spectacular coastal walks and amazing sunsets. Within a short flat walk to the heart of the village where you will find shops, cafés, pubs and restaurants. Ilogan Woods, adjacent to Portreath, with streams and a circular walk leading to the 14th-century church tower at Ilogan.

The Mineral Tramway Cycle Trail starts at Portreath and continues for 11 miles through the beautiful Cornish countryside to Devoran on the south coast. Cycles can be hired close by. Portreath is a perfect location for touring Cornwall, just 3 miles from the main A30 providing easy access to Penzance, St Ives, Lands End, Falmouth and The Lizard Peninsula. The cathedral city of Truro is just a short drive away with theatre, cinema, bowling and shops. Shop and restaurant 100 yards, pub 50 yards.

Perfectly situated to enjoy the benefits of Cornwall and sitting quietly behind the converted chapel, overlooking the Cornish countryside, this converted Sunday School provides an ideal holiday base from which to explore the county. Cycling and walking on the official ’Clay Trails’ within the area are a must, along which you can explore the area and even reach the world famous Eden Project. St Austell, with its leisure centre, is approximately 6 miles, as is the village of Charlestown, home to ’tall ships’ and a shipwreck heritage museum that houses artefacts from the Titanic. To the north of the property, the fishing village of Padstow, with its numerous restaurants (local seafood is a speciality), is easily accessible. Also available is bike hire (the famous Camel Trail), fishing trips and diving. Newquay, with its excellent surfing beaches, is approximately 12 miles away. On the south coast, the ancient fishing port of Fowey is within 10 miles and was home to Daphne Du Maurier. Fowey has many events throughout the year, such as the Du Maurier festival and the Fowey Royal Regatta. It is also home to many galleries, pubs, restaurants and shops. Sea fishing, sailing and diving trips are available locally. Bodmin Moor is also close by and provides an excellent location for horse riding, walking and mountain biking. The Lost Gardens of Heligan, Lanhydrock House, Restormel Castle and Crealy Adventure Park are all within an easy drive. Beach 6 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile.

This superb, spacious bungalow lies adjacent to Bossiney Cove and the dramatic cliffs of the nearby coastline. Situated in the grounds of a caravan club site and within half a mile of several, sandy beaches and coves, it is a haven for children. It has recently been refurbished with new double glazing and a wonderful modern kitchen. The nearby coast path follows the cliff tops to the picturesque fishing hamlet of Boscastle and onto the legendary seat of King Arthur at Tintagel’s ruined castle. With many pubs, restaurants and leisure activities in the area this is both the perfect family holiday location and base for touring the splendid Cornish coastline. These pet friendly holiday barns are situated less than half a mile from the stunning north coast of Cornwall. The access is via a typical Cornish narrow road with beautiful scenic views of the sea peeping out through the hedgerow on approach.
In the heart of this small Cornish hamlet, the barns (refs 30108, 30109, 30110 and 30111) are furnished and fitted to provide a comfortable base from which to explore the many attractions that Cornwall has to offer. Each barn has a well-equipped kitchen as well as open-plan living. Each has its own sitting-out area, which is ideal for watching the wildlife and al fresco dining. Each property also has access to electric car charging points which a charge for use however if you require using the charging points you must bring your own lead. There are no local amenities as it is in a hamlet, but only a 5 minute car journey to the local village; we suggest you look at the welcome folder in the cottage to familiarise yourself to your surroundings and to discover what amenities are local to your stay.
This barn has the private use of a hot tub, but please note the first night the temperature may not of quite reached it’s optimal temperature due to the replenishment of fresh water post cleaning the tub.
Guests are close to the coastal path and if you walk north, you will reach Tintagel, the mythical home of King Arthur, with its array of shops, pubs and restaurants. A little further on, Boscastle with its picturesque harbour is a must. A small beach can be reached on foot, approximately ½ mile away. Travelling down the coast, guests will come to Port Isaac, where the TV series ’Doc Martin’ is filmed, and further down the coast, visit the beautiful sandy surfing beach at Polzeath and the dunes at Rock where you can take a ferry across to Padstow. From Padstow, with its working harbour, shops, pubs and restaurants, you can hire bikes and cycle the Camel Trail to Wadebridge and beyond to Bodmin.
Close by is Bodmin Moor, unspoilt moorland at its best, and for walkers the tors on the moor are a must. Further down the coast is Newquay, with its famous surfing beaches, Blue Reef Aquarium and Zoo and if you travel to the south coast, you will find Looe, Fowey and Mevagissey, just a few of the charming coastal villages. For cycling enthusiasts, there is a cycle hub at Lanhydrock, with some wonderful forest routes to be taken. Shop, pub and restaurant 2½ miles.
