Barton Hall Farm can be found just outside Pooley Bridge, the village at the outfall of Lake Ullswater. All three cottages have been tastefully converted from original old stone farm buildings; and wherever possible the original features have been retained. Old pitch pine beams stretch unhindered through bedrooms and across stairways and the local slate and sandstone are in evidence throughout. Guests are welcomed with fresh flowers, along with well furnished comfortable holiday accommodation, wood-burning stoves and well-equipped kitchens. For good walking, fells nearby include High Street range, 1 mile, and Helvellyn, 10 miles. The market town of Penrith, 5 miles; whilst the attractions of Keswick are 14 miles. Shops, pubs and restaurants ½ mile.

Located within the heart of the Lake District, Helm View is situated in the secluded tree-lined district of Annisgarth, a short walk from the centre of both Windermere and Bowness and five minutes on foot from the open countryside with views over Windermere and beyond. This modernised Lakeland slate house is a spacious retreat combining tradition with modern facilities and the chance to relax in front of the log fire or on the patio. There are numerous attractions nearby with outdoor activities, sightseeing, shops, restaurants, Lake Windermere and the Beatrix Potter visitor attractions. Ambleside and Hawkshead are within five miles. Shops 1 mile.

The gardens are continuous with the grounds of Ireby Grange Estate and there are no defining borders as a result. Guests are free to walk around the Estate which also includes Binsey Fell. The garden area is a haven for wildlife and the property is ideally placed to walk and explore.
There are many walking and cycling opportunities to be had from the door including easy access to Binsey Fell which provides a thrilling viewpoint from the summit. There is interest wildlife to be seen in close proximity including deer, and red squirrels.

This terraced house, built from local Lakeland stone, has has been furnished to a good standard , it is situated in the heart of Keswick and is perfect for a memorable family break. This spacious property boasts high ceilings and offers a great social space on the ground floor. It features a cosy living room with a 40" Smart TV. Leading off from the living room is a large, separate dining room which is just perfect for a family feast after a day on the fells, and even has a DAB radio and Bluetooth speaker so you can listen to your favourite tunes while you enjoy a glass of wine and play a board game. At the rear there is an enclosed garden with patio and sitting-out area, as well as an equipment store which doubles up as a drying room for your wet walking gear. Dogs are welcome at Wanderers Rest so be sure to bring them along for the ride. On the first floor you will find two bedrooms, one with a super kingsize bed and en-suite facilities, and the second with twin beds. The second floor boasts great views across the Keswick rooftops to the nearby fells, and houses a kingsize bedroom and a single room.

With roadside parking available, you can easily leave the car behind and explore the bustling town centre of Keswick on foot. You are just ¼ mile away from all of the amenities Keswick has to offer, including a choice of shops, bars, pubs, restaurants, cafés, coffee shops, delis, outdoor shops and every other type of shopping experience you could imagine. This traditional market town is brimming with things to discover and has lots of little streets and courtyards. For family fun visit Puzzling Place, a mind boggling attraction based on optical illusions, ½ mile, or take a trip to Derwent Pencil Museum, home to the largest pencil in the world, ¾ mile. If you enjoy culture, The Theatre By The lake offers a stunning Lakeside location, or you can take a rowing boat out on Derwentwater, ¾ mile. If you like outdoor adventure including walking, cycling and climbing, you are surrounded by some amazing scenery and routes around Latrgigg and Catbells, and nearby you’ll find Skiddaw, Blencathra and Helvellyn to name a few. Situated an acre of beautiful gardens and only a stone’s throw from the lake, with walks from the doorstep, including Aira Force where you can enjoy stunning views of Ullswater along the way. There are a few local inn’s and hotels that are within a mile from the property, serving hot homely food. There is much to do and see around Ullswater, from the spectacular Aira Force waterfall, to walks on the high fells or cruises round the lake on the Ullswater steamers.
