Ashbourne has a good selection of independent and high street shops, supermarkets, leisure centres, bars and restaurants to be enjoyed, as well as being one of the best locations in the Peaks for walking and cycling.
    Just a short drive from the house is Dovedale, known famously for its unique feature of stepping stones across the River Dove, where you can take a fantastic walk to Ilam and across Thorpe Cloud where your views are stunning, the Tissington Trail also has a great route and perfect for cycling, as well as Carsington Water which is an 8-mile stretch around the reservoir which also offers many water sports. Alton Towers is a keen favourite for holidaymakers staying in Ashbourne as it is just a short 15-minute drive away to adrenaline fun. There are plenty of options here for all the family and friends to ensure you are all making memorable moments together.
