Within walking distance are shops, pubs, restaurants and takeaways, and a short drive away, 30 minutes, are the market towns of Louth and Horncastle for days out. Lincoln is about an hour’s drive to the west, and is famous for its cathedral, castle and Magna Carta Visitor Centre. There is also a Roman fort and modern museum, The Collection, which brings together a museum of archaeology and the regions premier art gallery, The Usher Gallery. Beach 300 yards. Lincolnshire offers an abundance of great walks and cycles routes, and many can be enjoyed right from the doorstep.
