The property comfortably accommodates up to ten guests, making it perfect for family gatherings, and friends’ reunions. As you arrive, you’ll be greeted by its charm and welcoming homely atmosphere. Step inside to enjoy its spacious interior, where you can enjoy spending time with loved ones, or break away for some alone-time. It boasts a well-equipped kitchen, complete with modern appliances and ample counter space. Prepare delicious meals and gather around the large dining table to share stories and laughter. Melsham House features four bedrooms; the master boasts a super kingsize bed and has a private seating balcony with fabulous views of the marshes. There is an interconnecting door to the bunk bedroom, making it a perfect family room. The double bedroom also has great views from the Juliet balcony. The fourth bedroom, a double bed with single bunk above, has a games zone with gaming console.
Being close to the marshes, this location is a paradise for bird watchers, and anglers can enjoy the fishing lakes next door. The lakes offer a diverse range of fish species, and nature enthusiasts can spot a myriad of birds before returning to sip your favourite beverage on the tranquil patio or enjoy a soak in the hot tub under a starlit sky. This is a blissful retreat for those seeking a tranquil getaway surrounded by nature’s wonders and the location promises to create many lasting memories.
The village of Cantley is a comfortable walk beside the river and has 2 pubs, The conservation village of Reedham, 8 minutes’ drive, has two pubs serving food, a fish and chip shop, delicatessen with café, a micro-brewery, railway station and riverside seating allowing you to watch the boating activity. The market town of Acle, 15 minutes’ drive, also has a railway station, supermarket, shops and cafés.
The Norfolk Broads National park offers miles of much-celebrated waterways to explore, daily boat hire and river trips excursions available. Wroxham, capital of the Broads is just 23 minutes’ drive with riverside restaurants and shops. Wonderful sandy beaches can be found along the Norfolk coastline; Great Yarmouth has plenty of traditional seaside family activities. The historic city of Norwich, with its cathedral, theatres, museums, restaurants and cafés is a must for any shopaholic. Pub 2 miles. Supermarket 7 miles

Arranged across the ground floor, No.1 sleeps six in three king size bedrooms and is perfect for families and couples alike. No.2 is on the first floor and can accommodate up to eight guests as it has a lovely bunk room with two sets of bunk beds in, making this a great choice for larger families. The other two rooms are very flexible too as they can be made up as two small single beds or as king size beds. And No.3, on the second floor also sleeps six and offers two king size rooms, plus an additional bedroom which can be arranged as two small singles or a further king size. All three apartments offer spacious open-plan living/dining rooms with Smart TVs and well equipped kitchens. The owner really does want you to have a lovely stay and has provided everything needed for a really great holiday.
If you can tear yourself away from these delightful retreats you will find yourself spoilt for choice when it comes to things to see and do. Take a stroll along the Edwardian Promenade, have a coffee on the famous pier and do a spot of people-watching or enjoy that glorious beach. Cromer also has a zoo, traditional seaside amusements, crazy golf and a cinema and offers a myriad of great places to shop, eat and drink with every taste catered for. But venture a little further and you will find dramatic coastlines, salt and clay marshes, picturesque quays, creeks and pretty little harbours all waiting to be explored.
Those wishing to see the Norfolk Broads can find themselves there in around thirty minutes and the up-and-coming city break destination of Norwich is just 45 minutes away. You can even see both by train from Cromer station. Add in great golf courses, including some cliff top ones with views to die for, history galore with the Blickling and Holkham Estates and the Muckleburgh and Thursford Collections, the latter with its Christmas Spectacular and you’ll soon be ready to book again, just to fit it all in. When you do return, you will no doubt return to Sugar and Spice Tower because it is just lovely! And all three apartments can be booked together to accommodate up to 20 guests, while maintaining your own space making this a truly flexible destination.
