Lyndale House offers five bedrooms, all of which have en-suite shower facilities and there are two zip/link beds, providing very flexible sleeping arrangements. A bonus is a ground floor en-suite twin room for those with restricted mobility. The bright and airy sitting room can be found on the first floor. Completing the accommodation is a first floor bathroom and a separate toilet To the side of Lyndale House is a small private paved parking area suitable for two cars. The Yorkshire Dales National Park is also nearby; its rolling hills stretch as far as the eye can see, offering fantastic rambling routes, an array of local country pubs and many charming villages to potter around. Skipton, 20 miles, is a must visit with its medieval castle, cobbled streets and weekly markets. This mid-terraced cottage has plenty of character and has kept all its original features with a large fireplace and wood burner, exposed stone and wooden beams throughout, giving you that instant country cottage feel. The property is set over 3 levels, you enter the property into the living area, which is a lovely warm, comfortable space where you can cosy up in front of the wood burner which will keep you warm on the colder evenings. On the same floor you have a dining area and a well presented, well equipped kitchen which has plenty of room for food preparation. From the kitchen you gain access to the rear patio area which is a great place to sit and relax in the sun with a morning coffee and the newspapers. With the cottage having front and rear patio areas you can chase the sun and sit out all day long should you wish.

Cherry Garth Cottages are located in the centre of Thornton le Dale, ’Yorkshire’s little gem’. Cherry Blossom has been named after the cherry trees which border the garden. The cottage has been built from beautiful traditional Yorkshire stone, and is tucked away in the grounds of the owner’s home Cherry Garth. It has an open plan living area with a welcoming wood burner to snuggle up in front of after a busy day out exploring the spectacular Yorkshire coast and countryside, and upon arrival you will be welcomed with a lovely welcome pack with tea, coffee and biscuits. There are lovely views from the property onto the garden and the bedroom window overlooks the paddock, where sheep graze.

The picturesque village of Thornton le Dale is located on the edge of the North York Moors, a mere one mile from Pickering. From here you can take a ride on the famous steam train to Grosmont, Goathland (aka Aidensfield in the classic TV series Heartbeat) and the seaside town of Whitby where you can climb the 199 steps to Whitby Abbey. Those looking for a quieter pace of life may prefer to walk the many footpaths and bridleways over the North York Moors.
