The cottage is situated on the edge of the unspoilt Peak District village of Monyash, just 4 miles from Bakewell; the delightful market town at the heart of the Peak District. During your stay be sure to add a meander around the picturesque village of Monyash and an afternoon exploring the shops and eateries in Bakewell to your agenda. Whilst this isn’t a coastal destination, you may think twice if you stumble across Matlock Bath, with its seaside-like row of amusement arcades and fish and chip shops. Also close by is the Heights of Abraham, sure to make for a great day out if you like caverns and cable cars that is - there’s something for everyone here and the scenery is not to be missed. Not forgetting about the sheer beauty of your surroundings; walking and cycling in this area proves to be popular and there are lots of unique country pubs around to finish your adventure with a reward. Bee Keepers Cottage is located on a working farm on the edge of Derbyshire’s Peak District, the cottage overlooks the 18 hole golf course at Shirland Golf and country club where visitors day passes are available.

The cottage has beautiful rural views and offers guests the peace and quiet of rural living yet within easy access of local attractions and transport networks, and there is a golf course boarding the property’s grounds and miles of footpath networks adjacent to the farm.

The accommodation at Bee Keepers cottage is spaced over a single storey and offers light, bright accommodation with beautiful gardens and views of the rolling Derbyshire countryside.

Chatsworth House, Hardwick Hall and Crich tramway museum are a short drive away. Local towns include Matlock, Bakewell and Chesterfield. Derby and Nottinghamshire are a 20-minute drive.

The location is popular with walkers who enjoy the beautiful walks and trails straight from the doorstep.

All accommodation is on the ground floor. The Large modern kitchen/dining area to seat 6 and opens out onto the living area with Smart TV. The kitchen has an electric eye level oven, built in microwave, induction hob, fridge/ freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.

Two bedrooms have king size beds, and the third a single bed, and there is a family bathroom with bath and shower above – there is also an additional shower room with quadrant shower cubicle, toilet and basin.

Outside there are two seating areas, a BBQ, gardens and plenty of off-road parking.

Guests are welcome to visit the horses in the barn next to the property (prior arrangement with the owner), please supervise children for their safety.

Red Robin Cottage is a charming, two-bedroom cottage, perfect for couples or a small family. On the first floor you have a kingsize bedroom featuring a TV, along with a twin bedroom. The bathroom offers both a bath and a shower cubicle, providing convenience and comfort for your stay. Step out from the kitchen into the generously sized, lawned, enclosed garden with comfortable furniture which makes it an excellent spot to relax and soak in the fresh air. The property provides driveway parking for one car, with additional street parking available if needed.

Take a stroll through the local nature reserve, visit Chesterfield town centre known for its iconic crooked spire, where you can enjoy shopping and cafés. The Peak District is home to Chatsworth House, a magnificent stately home with stunning gardens and beautiful art collections; it is a must visit for history and architecture enthusiast. There are many different walks to be enjoyed around the entirety of the Peak District. Through the fields alongside unused railway tracks and hilly trails, there’s plenty of countryside to see along the way whichever route you take. You can easily fill your time in Derbyshire with activities to suit all your party with the knowing of having Red Robin Cottage to return to at the end of the day to relax and unwind in comfort.

Woodside View is in the picturesque village of Longnor which is in the heart of the Peak District.

Shardlow is an unexpected delight for any unsuspecting visitor, whether emerging from the Derby conurbation in the north and finding quiet, spacious, sweeping greenery, or from the south where a signpost tells you you’re now in Derbyshire, although without the hills and dales you might have been expecting. With its own quirky traditions such as Bonsall Carnival, International Hen Racing Championships, ancient buildings and History Trails, Bonsall itself is a delightful find with two pubs and a lovely tearoom all within half a mile or so. This fantastic Grade II listed farm house building is bursting with character. It is spacious and has social rooms to be enjoyed, plus extensive gardens with beautiful views down the valley. The ground floor of this home offers a typical farmhouse style kitchen with traditional Rayburn and dining table in the centre of the room, there is an electric/gas range cooker also available, plus everything else you should need to cook up a great meal for all. There is a dining room, a sitting room with a wood burner, a further living room with a TV and an extensive DVD selection, a utility with additional fridge and freezer space, washing machine and tumble dryer, plus hanging space to dry clothes. There are also two downstairs toilets, plus a double bedroom. On the first floor are the remainder of the bedrooms, one having an en-suite. Tissington has a lot to offer; it is the home of the well-dressing event, Tissington Hall, and the Tissington Trail is one of the best walking and cycling routes in the Peak District. Another fantastic walk from Tissington is to Dovedale, where the famous Dovedale stepping stones are. Alton Towers is a 25 minute drive which makes a great day out for all the family. This truly is a fantastic property to return back to after you have finished exploring for the day.

Set off on foot from the door and within minutes you can explore the town of Bakewell with its tasty pudding shops, eateries and a walk down the river Derwent. A short drive is Chatsworth House where you can explore its grounds and gardens and sample their delicious afternoon tea offering. There are an abundance of walks and trails in the Peak District to spend your days before you return home to this charming property.
As you arrive on the private drive, there is ample parking for up to five cars, enter into the property on the ground floor where you will find a large kitchen with dining table, a superb dining room, study and lounge with an open fire. On the first floor are three double bedrooms, one having an en-suite bathroom, and another has a kingsize bed. There is a family bathroom on this floor which can be accessed from the master bedroom also, it has a fantastic feature in the mirror which lights up as well as connecting via Bluetooth for your phone should you wish to play music.
On the second floor are three further double bedrooms and another family bathroom featuring his and hers sinks. The bathrooms and bedrooms have been finished to a luxurious standard with plenty of space and light with the bathrooms having underfloor heating. Outside there is a generously sized garden with high walls ensuring privacy and home to one of the nine wells of Bakewell plus the old stables and blacksmiths workshop where you can store your bikes. There is a separate sitting room with electric feature fire, TV, sofa and easy chairs. The lower ground floor provides a separate area as a games room for the kids to have their own space, with a popular football table. On the first floor are two of the four bedrooms. The master bedroom features an en-suite shower room and a super kingsize bed which can be made up as twin beds on request. The family bathroom is also on the first floor and features a bath and a separate shower cubicle. Relatively steep stairs rise to the second floor with a landing providing access to two further bedrooms, one of which is super kingsize with a dual aspect, and far-reaching views which include the River Wye as it meanders through the town.

Every room within the property is finished to a standard of excellence. Outside, the property is approached via a driveway, providing access to a large, gravelled parking area with space for four cars and space to turn. To the side of the property is a lovely garden, ideal for sitting out during the morning, and a patio area immediately adjoining the conservatory with seating for 10 people.

Rock Mews is located just a short walk up from Bakewell town centre, within easy reach of shops, bars, cafés and restaurants. There are magnificent views across the market town of Bakewell from all areas of the garden, and Rock Mews provides the perfect base within this popular Peak District town. From the town you can get onto the Monsal Trail, which is great for cycling as well as walking. If you haven’t got any bikes, bike hiring is available on the trail at Hassop café. Neighbouring towns such as Buxton and Matlock are lovely places to visit and explore, both offering their own independent characters, and of course not to be missed are nearby Chatsworth House and Gardens and Haddon Hall, both within 5 minutes’ drive of Bakewell.
