    There are numerous attractions within easy reach of the property, including the Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park, Watermouth Castle and the Lynton to Lynmouth cliff railway. At Croyde and Woolacombe you will find some of the best and cleanest surf beaches in the country as well as many smaller coves and bays. Exmoor is a short distance away where, on a clear day, the views can be spectacular. Highlights on Exmoor include Withypool, Tarr Stepps and Dunkery Beacon. There are National Trust properties at Arlington and Knightshayes and the RHS gardens at Rosemoor and Great Torrington as well as horse riding, fishing and golf, all available locally. At the mouth of the river are Kingswear and Dartmouth Castles with the rocky waters of the estuary lapping at their feet. Exeter and its stunning cathedral is just a 10-mile drive, and Exeter Racecourse and Haldon are not far away. A nature trail and cycle route can be found in the Forestry Commission, 7 miles. Powderham Castle and many National Trust properties are close by. Beach 10 miles. Shop and pub ½ mile, restaurant ¼ mile.
