As guests enter the property via the rear gate, they find themselves in the rear enclosed courtyard area with sitting-out area. The door then leads into the property itself, into the open plan living/dining, and bedroom area. Here there is sofa seating and smart TV, small table and chairs and an archway which leads into the bedroom area. From the living/dining area, the hallway then leads into the kitchen which is fully equipped with all guests may need to rustle up a good meal. The shower room is then accessed via a door leading from the kitchen.
Brixham itself is a picturesque fishing town located on the southeast coast of Devon. A colourful, vibrant harbour is the heart of Brixham life. Lined with small shops, cafés and bars, it offers a fantastic array of fine places to eat, relax and soak up the atmosphere. Several beaches and coves line the coast and Brixham has its very own open-air, seawater lido. Brixham is part of Torbay, a beautiful coastal stretch taking in the seaside towns of Torquay and Paignton.
Here you’ll find fantastic amenities and inviting sandy beaches. Historic Dartmouth is also within easy reach of Brixham and worth a visit. It is just a short drive south, then a ferry crossing will take you to this beautiful naval town, situated on the banks of the River Dart. Half an hour’s drive inland is the magnificent Dartmoor National Park. It is a paradise for nature lovers and those who enjoy walking and exploring. Beach ½ mile.

The apartment has been decorated and furnished beautifully throughout and being all on one level makes it ideal for guests who are less mobile or those with small children. The underfloor heating throughout gives a warm and cosy feel which is just what you need after a long day of sightseeing. The bathroom is contemporary and features a large shower cubicle, while the open plan feel of the living, dining and kitchen area give a feeling of space and a very convenient layout.
The properties benefit from being only ¾ mile from a beautiful sandy beach which is perfect for a breath of fresh air and also good for exercising your four-legged friends. Dogs are welcome to come and stay and there is plenty of good walks locally. The centre of St Bees has an excellent selection of local pubs and restaurants and if you want to leave the car behind you can take the train to many local towns. St Bees station, a number of pubs, restaurants and the local convenience store are all within 200 yards of the property. The famous St Bees priory, dating back to the 11th century is well worth a visit and can be reached within a 5-minute walk. If you like outdoor adventure, including walking, cycling and climbing, you are surrounded by some amazing scenery and you are only a 10-mile drive from the Lake District National Park, your nearest lake is Ennerdale which is regarded as one of the most unspoilt and natural parts of the Lake District. It is teaming with wildlife including buzzards, red squirrels and osprey to name a few. If you want to climb the highest mountain in England you can reach Wasdale Head in just 18 miles, which gives you the shortest route to the summit of Scafell Pike. Or why not take a trip on the La’al Ratty which is a miniature steam railway along the South West Coast. For golfers, St Bees offers an excellent 9-hole links course. Beach ¾ mile. From its rural setting, this lovely converted barn enjoys panoramic far reaching views over the delightful Shropshire countryside towards the Welsh Borders. Comfortably furnished it lies close to the owners working farm and offers an excellent base for exploring this area, with wonderful walking and fantastic bird watching opportunities with red kite being a regular feature. The property also boasts a conservatory facing west to take advantage of the surrounding views. The charming market town of Bishops Castle, 2 miles, is home to two breweries, interesting shops and restaurants, whilst Ludlow and Shrewsbury are both easily accessible. The local pub is 3 miles away.

The resort of Looe is home to famous fish markets which are supplied daily with fresh fish from the day boats that leave the quaint working harbour. Walk the lanes that lead to the harbour and wide expanse of golden sand, buy some fresh seafood for a special meal or visit one of the multitudes of restaurants that the town offers. The coastal path passes close to the property and provides beautiful walks and views along the dramatic coastline. Polperro is a quaint, historic fishing village, just a short distance away from the coast. There are numerous cycle routes around the area and many surfing spots along the coast. Various tourist attractions are nearby, including The Monkey Sanctuary, many National Trust houses and gardens along with golf courses to visit. The Adrenalin Quarry is a must for the adventurous and it is only a short drive away. The Eden Project is also within easy driving distance and it provides an exceptional day out, as does Padstow, the Lost Gardens of Heligan and Fowey, a picturesque seafaring town providing sailing, kayaking and pleasure trips along the River Fowey. Deep sea fishing and other water sports can all be enjoyed in Looe, along with woodland and coastal walks nearby. To the east of the town is the historic city of Plymouth, with its National Marine Aquarium, theatres, cinemas, bowling and shopping, which can be reached from the historic village of Kingsand, right into Barbican, while to the west is Fowey, home to the royal sailing regatta and many galleries, shops and restaurants. Cycling, horse riding, golf and go-karting are all nearby. Each property has an allocated parking space, plus there is parking for a further 3 cars if needed. Robin’s Rest is also an ideal location to explore the Heritage Coast and its picturesque coastal resorts, such as Robin Hood’s Bay, Runswick Bay, Staithes and many more nestled into the coastline. All of which take you back to when the coast was a haven for smugglers.
You can catch a steam train into the heart of the Yorkshire Moors, which is perfect for hikers and bikers. The medieval walled city of York and its many attractions is also just an hour’s drive away, boasting the Jorvik Viking Centre and National Railway Museum. Beach ¼ mile. Just a one-mile walk from Flamborough’s magnificent lighthouse, these former agricultural barns, estimated to date back approximately 200 years, have been skillfully converted retaining many original features and exposed roof timbers. The spectacular chalk cliffs to the north, with their panoramic views, are home to one of the largest nesting seabird colonies in England - RSPB Bempton. The quaint village of Flamborough itself is steeped in a history of piracy, shipwrecks and smuggling. The Heritage Coastal resorts of Bridlington, Filey, and Scarborough are all easily accessible.
