Within easy driving there is much to enjoy, whether taking in the lovely character towns of Sherborne, with its shops, castle and abbey, or Shaftesbury with its links to Hovis and the famous Gold Hill. You can enjoy visiting nearby attractions, such as National Trust Stourhead House and Gardens, Longleat House and Safari Park, Haynes International Motor Museum or the Yeovilton Fleet Air Arm Museum. Further afield you can venture to the city of Bath, with its Georgian architecture, Salisbury with its fascinating cathedral city and spire, and many more exciting places. The City of Norwich is approximately a 30-minute drive away, and has many attractions including excellent shopping, cathedral, castle museum, theatre, art galleries, cafés and restaurants. Wroxham, 12 miles, capital of the famous Norfolk Broads is great for daily boat hire, river trips and waterside cafés.
