If you like outdoor adventure, including walking, cycling and climbing, you are surrounded by some amazing scenery and you are only a 10-mile drive from the Lake District National Park, your nearest lake is Ennerdale which is regarded as one of the most unspoilt and natural parts of the Lake District. If you want to climb the highest mountain in England you can reach Wasdale Head in just 18 miles, which gives you the shortest route to the summit of Scafell Pike. The properties are located just 600 yards from the lake and are accessed along a quiet country lane. Loweswater is one of the smallest lakes in the Lake District with the village of Loweswater being set on the banks of the lake itself. Nestled in a wooded valley in The Vale of Lorton, it is the first link in a chain of lakes including Crummock Water and Buttermere. If you like to explore and enjoy walking, hiking, climbing or cycling, you have a vast expanse of natural Lakeland scenery to explore, including many of the 214 Wainwright peaks within easy reach.
