If you want to climb the highest mountain in England you can reach Wasdale Head in just 18 miles, which gives you the shortest route to the summit of Scafell Pike.     The properties are located just 600 yards from the lake and are accessed along a quiet country lane. Loweswater is one of the smallest lakes in the Lake District with the village of Loweswater being set on the banks of the lake itself. Nestled in a wooded valley in The Vale of Lorton, it is the first link in a chain of lakes including Crummock Water and Buttermere.
