The dining room to the rear of the property features antique furniture including a grandfather clock and sideboard, a dining table for eight and an antique fireplace. This makes the room the ideal setting for family gatherings. From here there is direct access to the Lakeland kitchen, which is a mixture of country style and modern conveniences.
The first flight of stairs leads to a spacious bathroom with a full-size bath and an electric shower, and there is also an additional shower room. To the rear of the property is a good-size double bedroom, which features an original fireplace. To the front of the property is a second large double bedroom which features a couple of reading chairs. Lots of natural light is brought in by the large sash windows. Two more flights of stairs lead to two further bedrooms, the first of which is a spacious double overlooking St. Mary’s Church and the fells beyond. Another bedroom is located at the front of the property with feature wall panelling. Kirkby Lonsdale is a small and relatively unspoilt market town situated on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Kirkby Lonsdale itself is a historic, quaint market town with a growing reputation for high quality independent shopping, as well as excellent restaurants, cafés and bars. The town is notably home to the 14th century Devil’s Bridge, as well as Ruskin’s View.
