    Tissington has a lot to offer; it is the home of the well-dressing event, Tissington Hall, and the Tissington Trail is one of the best walking and cycling routes in the Peak District. Another fantastic walk from Tissington is to Dovedale, where the famous Dovedale stepping stones are. Alton Towers is a 25 minute drive which makes a great day out for all the family.
