Brixham, EnglandThis cosy, terraced cottage, ideal for a couple, lies just 1 minute’s walk from the bustling harbour of Brixham. With a modern interior, large L-shaped sofa and a cosy bedroom at the rear, it’s perfect for seaside holidays or romantic short breaks throughout the year. This old fishing store has been lovingly converted into a super little cottage. It was previously used as a store for the local fishermen working out of the harbour, and has probably seen an array of fishing characters come through the door in its long history.
The picturesque harbour town of Brixham lies in the heart of the English Riviera and boasts a thriving fishing industry which lends itself to the many seafood restaurants around the harbour. There are many smugglers stories abound and a full sized replica of Sir Francis Drake’s Golden Hind to explore, along with craft markets and lots of festivals. This semi-detached residence is an excellent choice for your stay in South Devon. This eight bedroom former guest house is set in its own grounds with car parking for twelve cars and a lawned garden in which to relax in peace and tranquillity and there is a barbecue for your enjoyment. This spacious holiday home has been decorated and furnished to a good standard offering a fabulous house for friends to get together, celebrations and large family holidays. Attached to the owner’s apartment, the property sleeps twenty people and all bedrooms are en-suite. There is a large kitchen and living/dining room. Nearby Breakwater Beach is well worth a visit. Visit Brixham and experience one of the treasures of the English Riviera, South Devon’s beautiful bay and its myriad of attractions. For things to do for families, Torquay is a hive of activity throughout the year. There are many beaches to choose from as well as Kent’s Cavern to explore or Living Coasts to visit where you can walk with penguins. There are also plenty of sightseeing excursions, boat and fishing trips out into the bay, or take a boat trip to Torquay and Dartmouth for a day out. Paignton is most famous for its wonderful zoo, whilst Babbacombe plays host to a world in miniature in the form of its acclaimed model village.
