The property itself is light and spacious, with charming period Victorian touches and plenty of modern facilities, with a lovely warm and quality feel. An elegant winding staircase in the entrance hall reveals stained glass windows and there are solid doors, attractive sash windows and tiled cast-iron fireplaces in many of the bedrooms. There is ample parking for seven cars and plenty of free-parking in the road. An enclosed garden at the rear of the property is a great place for al fresco dining and relaxing. The property also has its own full-size American pool table.

The Coastal Activity Park at Boscombe Beach offers over twenty activities on the sea and sand, so there is always plenty to do for any type of party group and for all ages There are the traditional bucket-and-spade and deck-chair delights as Bournemouth Bay offers over 7 miles of golden sands. A trip on the Land Train from Boscombe to Bournemouth Pier is a must, as there is some wonderful cliff to views and plenty of choice to enjoy stop-offs in the tea rooms, ice cream parlour’s, cafés, traditional pubs and fish restaurants. Then, of course, there is the famous Bournemouth night life, with streets full of restaurants, wine bars, cocktail bars, themed pubs and some amazing night clubs, so you can feast and party through the night! The well-equipped kitchen and dining room combine a large original 19th Century farmhouse table, American style fridge/freezer and tall larder fridge, and ample cutlery and crockery alongside two dishwashers to create the perfect hassle-free space to host family gatherings or reunions amongst friends.
Featuring coastal influences throughout to reflect the wonderful location of the cottage, the rooms are tastefully decorated in cornflour white to combine a feeling of calm and freshness. Original paintings from local artists showcase the stunning area, and Californian artworks provide pops of colour. Throughout the cottage, you’ll find statement pieces such as the 4-poster bed, antique French bed and armoire, and featured alongside these is bespoke furniture to ensure your stay is perfectly comfortable and just right. With the owners located nearby, you have the reassurance that they are on hand to assist if you need, whilst retaining your privacy to enjoy your peaceful holiday.

Travelling a short distance along the causeway, you can enjoy stunning views from Portland and the famous Portland Bill Lighthouse, all the way over to Lyme Bay, and along this famous stretch of English coastline, now designated as the World Heritage Jurassic Coast, with its superb coastal walking and scenery. Within easy driving distance, enjoy family days out at Weymouth with its stunning, award-winning sandy beach which the children will love, visit the Sea Life Adventure Park and Sea Life Tower, or perhaps try some windsurfing in Portland harbour. Nearby is the Golden Cap with panoramic views over Lyme Bay from the top. A sandy beach and harbour of West Bay are close by, as well as the beginning of the famous Chesil Beach.
