Within easy reach of the property are numerous stately homes including Sledmere House and Burton Agnes Hall, quiet Wolds villages and the market towns of Beverley and Malton, not to mention the seaside resorts of Bridlington, Filey and Scarborough. For those wishing to explore a little further afield, York, Whitby and the Yorkshire Moors are all less than an hours’ drive away.

    The kitchen has a working Aga, but don’t worry an electric oven is also available for those not wishing to use this traditional farmhouse oven. An Aga cookbook is on hand with lots of delicious recipes to try. The dining room sits in the middle of the property and retains the sweeping staircase and a large picture window. The Hind House offers plenty of outside space too with a kennel for dogs, a bike store for keen cyclists, a large-enclosed garden for children to play in and a patio area perfectly placed to enjoy the evening sun and al fresco dining. With miles of public footpaths, cycle paths, the Wolds Way, easy access to the coast and so many places to visit and explore. This area of East Yorkshire is very popular with country pursuits enthusiasts in the summer and winter months, and the property has a lockable cabinet for your own gun.     Beautifully presented, Sea The Stars is a bright and airy mid-terrace house which benefits from large bay windows, high ceilings and a dog friendly, enclosed garden. On the ground floor is a spacious living room with a flatscreen Smart TV and deep comfortable sofas, one of which provides flexible sleeping for one guest as a sofa bed. The dining room and well-equipped kitchen have access to the garden and lie to the rear of the house. A toilet is tucked away under the stairs. On the first floor are three immaculately furnished bedrooms.

    Just a short walk from the house will find you in the centre of this Victorian coastal town, with an array of shops, tea rooms, pubs and restaurants. Hornsea offers a long sandy beach with a pretty promenade, traditional amusement arcades and a plethora of fish and chip shops and ice cream parlours. Just a short drive is Hornsea Mere, a large, natural lake which provides water sport activities, fishing and bird watching opportunities. The stunning chalk cliffs at Bempton RSPB reserve, home to colonies of sea birds is a bird watchers delight. The unspoilt rolling countryside of the Yorkshire Wolds are a short drive away and provide miles of footpaths and bridleways to explore.
