A short drive takes you to the New Forest National Park with its famous wild ponies, or head for the Purbecks and enjoy coastal walks and pretty villages. Christchurch is nearby with castle and harbour, or visit Beaulieu in the New Forest, with the National Motor Museum. The New Forest National Park, where you can see the free-roaming ponies, donkeys and cattle and enjoy off-road walking, riding and cycling. The quaint market town of Fordingbridge is close by with its famous stone bridge and fine arches, plenty of shops, pubs, a café and riverside location to enjoy, and closeby is a waterpark.
