Surrounded by the North York Moors National Park, this 200-year-old, detached, traditional Yorkshire cottage, which was fully refurbished and extended in 2020, is simply delightful. Tiggywinkle Cottage was named by a walker during the 1950s who took time to sit and draw the property. The villagers fell in love with the name and so it remains, along with the original pencil sketch which now hangs within the cottage.
    On arrival visitors are welcomed into the open plan living area. This room oozes character with its low ceilings and stone floors, tall visitors will need to take care! There is a country kitchen and large comfortable sofas around the wood burner in the open plan living area. Ideal to snuggle up and enjoy an evening’s entertainment on the 32’’ Smart TV or simply sit and enjoy a good book and glass of wine after a long day walking or cycling in the National Park. You will find everything you need to cook your favourite holiday recipes whilst the dining area provides comfortable seating for four.
