    Courtyare Retreat adjoins the owner’s home which is situated on the edge of Tenbury Wells. The ancient market town of Tenbury is set on the River Teme and was affectionately referred to by Queen Victoria as ’the town in the orchard’. It provides a range of interesting shops, cafés and pubs, whilst Ludlow, with its fine eateries and restaurants, is only a short drive away. For walkers, Titterstone Clee Hill offers spectacular views from its summits, or if you prefer a more leisurely stroll, there are plenty of country walks through the Teme Valley, renowned for its growing of hops and cider apples.

The historic cathedral cities of Worcester and Hereford are 30 minutes away as well as 45 minutes to Shakespeare’s Stratford-upon-Avon.     The suite is located within the main historic country manor house. The suite is located on the ground floor and has its own private entrance, approached along the part-gravel pathway. The country house is an elegant Georgian building from the Regency period dating from 1820 and was the historic manor court of the area. It is set in approximately 3 acres of the most peaceful grounds including woodland and has wonderful views of the hop vineyards and hills of the beautiful Teme Valley.
