Venture upstairs and a spacious open plan living area oozes charm, with well equipped kitchen, modern dining facilities and wonderful soft furnishings, ideal for sinking into at any time of the day.
Set out to explore the area and you will be spoiled for choice on where to go first; the exquisite Tamar Valley, an area of outstanding natural beauty is a short drive away, with valleys and woodland views, hills, and walks. Catch the train from Gunnislake and marvel at the scenery around you as you travel to the historic Naval city of Plymouth with its marinas, famous Hoe promenade, aquarium, many waterside bars, and restaurants.
Travel half an hour south-west and find popular Downderry Beach, sheltered with rock pools at low tide for children of all ages to enjoy. A spacious static caravan situated on a bustling, popular park with many eateries to choose from, so you’ll be spoilt for choice on where to eat each day. There’s plenty of on-site entertainment to enjoy, and various activities such as segways, bikes and pedalos hire. An indoor pool with lazy river and slides, this site is a wonderful place to make memories for all ages. There’s three bedrooms and two bathrooms with open plan lounge kitchen and breakfast area, and an area with outdoor seating perfect to catch a bit sunshine. You are also within easy reach of Porthmadog home to the Welsh Highland Railway, and Italianate village of Portmeirion, fashionable Abersoch is also nearby. Criccieth and Harlech, a short drive away where you’ll find the historic castles of the area. This area has miles of unspoilt coastal paths to explore, look out for the grey seal colonies that are established around the coastline, alongside a wealth of sea birds.
