Situated on the first floor by way of an external staircase, Dragonfly 1 offers bright accommodation with use of a delightful sunny lawned sitting out area. Dragonfly 2 has its own private patio garden. Interconnecting doors can be utilised if required to accommodate up to 6 guests. Dragonfly 3 is a charming detached single-storey barn conversion with enclosed private courtyard garden leading off from the bedroom. North Newton is situated between the Somerset Levels and the Quantock Hills, England’s first designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The Bridgwater/Taunton Canal runs alongside the village and is a popular area for many activities including fishing, golf, cycling or a quiet stroll to enjoy the range of wildlife in this wetland habitat. Close by is Maunsel Lock where you can visit the tea rooms, take a boat trip or follow the Space Walk along the canal. The Quantock Hills, Exmoor National Park and Blackdown Hills are all within easy reach, making it ideal for cycling and walking. Shop 1 mile, pub and restaurant 150 yards.

Welcome to The Old Dairy, a delightful and spacious one bedroom property, converted in 2021 and set all on one level.
The Old Dairy is set in an L shape, from your outdoor seating area, you will enter in to the kitchen/diner, which has been cleverly designed to make the most of the space; it features a lovely solid oak worktops and comes equipped with everything you will need for your stay. Leading off from here, you have your bedroom with a double bed. The bright and airy living room has large picture windows overlooking your private patio garden and is a real sun trap, truly the perfect place for your morning brew or to relax after a day exploring. You also have a fabulous wet room with large shower and heated towel rail.
The Old Dairy is the perfect base to explore from. Just a short walk away is the River Parrett with its walking trail which is 40 miles long, great for all abilities. Hop in the car and head off to the medieval town of Glastonbury for some shopping at its factory outlet Clarks Village. The beaches of Berrow, Brean and Weston-super-Mare are all within easy reach. Head to Weston’s Grand Pier where you can spend hours at the amusements, then into town for some traditional seaside fare! Beach 8 miles.

The Linhay is a one-bedroom holiday home, newly renovated for 2023 and located just a 10-minute drive from the historic town of Bridgwater in Somerset, at the foot of the Quantock Hills, England’s first designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Also nearby is Hestercombe House, a historic country house in the Quantock Hills.
To the north, 14 miles away is the fossil hunting beach at Kilve, and the seaside resorts of Dunster, Burnham-on-Sea, Minehead and Watchet are all within easy reach. To the south, there is Lyme Regis, Sidmouth and Seaton just to name a few all on the south coast. The lovely cathedral and Bishop’s Palace at Wells, Dunster Castle, the county town of Taunton, and Street with its Clarks Village shopping outlet, are a short drive as are the glories of Exmoor National Park. Here, as well as a spectacular coast, visitors will find Badgworthy Water, home to the legendary Doones, the unique cliff railway between Lynton and Lynmouth, Polock Weir’s harbour, and the popular beauty spot of Watersmeet. The living area has a comfortable sofa, television and dining area all of which enjoy incredible views from the picture window, no matter the time of year you will marvel at the beautiful landscape. The spacious double bedroom also has lake views and is the perfect spot to lay in bed with a cup of tea in the morning and watch the boats on the lake.
Set in the Mendips, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, walks for miles can be enjoyed from the doorstep and the area is perfect for mountain biking, climbing, horse riding or fishing. Just a short walk away is the beautiful Blagdon Lake with its miles of walks, stroll down and explore the Yeo Valley Organic Dairy with its Organic Garden.
