The mid terraced cottage, which is accessed via a farm track (unsuitable for low vehicles), is full of charm with thoughtful touches such as underfloor heating on the ground floor and a floor to ceiling window in the living area providing superb long distance views over the truly rural setting. Guests are also provided with dressing gowns and towels for the private hot tub which is situated to the front of the property - the perfect place for relaxing and taking in the surrounding environment.
    For those wanting to explore the local area by foot, many walks can be embarked upon straight from the door such as Top Withens and Bronte waterfalls. In addition, Britain’s greatest long distance walking trail, The Pennine Way, runs adjacent to the farm. The village of Stanbury is just a short walk from the cottage and has a number of pubs serving local food, and wonderful Haworth village, home of the famous Bronte Sisters is just a 5 minute drive.
    Slightly further afield the vibrant town of Hebden Bridge, which can be reached in around 20 minutes, has plenty of independent shops and cafés. The bustling market town of Skipton is around a 30-minute drive, and provides the gateway to the magnificent Yorkshire Dales National Park. For National Trust visitors, Hardcastle Crags offers a beautiful wooded valley, or East Riddlesden Hall, a little oasis in a busy urban area. Both can be reached in around half an hour. Shop 3 miles, pub and restaurant 1 mile.

    Lesta Cottage is a picture perfect cottage situated in the quiet village of Bielby. It is ideal for walkers and cyclists with the Bielby Lock and the Pocklington Canal Walk just a short stroll away from the front door. The property is close to the market town of Pocklington and is within easy reach of the popular tourist destinations of York, Hull and the east Yorkshire coast. There are also attractions close by including an outdoor pursuits centre at the nearby village of Allerthorpe.
    The property hosts lots of lovely features, both original and new, including low ceilings with wooden beams, a homely wood burner, solid oak flooring and furniture to the ground floor, and a modern bathroom with freestanding bath and contemporary tiles. A small gravelled area is at the front of the property with a brick wall, gate and a bench to sit and watch the world go by. The cottage is accessed by passing through a locked door into an undercover passage with shelving and hooks, ideal for storing bikes, pushchairs and muddy boots. There is a small cubby hole at the end of the passage with a washing machine and a clothes airer. A further locked door leads to the well-equipped galley-style kitchen, along with a welcome pack waiting for you on the kitchen counter. The living room is situated at the front of the property with a wood burner, TV, comfy sofa and armchair.
    A wooden staircase leads directly from the living room to a small hallway at the top with an oak bookcase and lamp. The master bedroom hosts solid oak furniture and a solid wood double bed. The second bedroom is accessed through a wooden sliding door and has a single solid wooden bed. The bathroom has a freestanding bath positioned on a mosaic platform, a freestanding tap with shower attachment, a toilet and sink. Shop, pub and restaurant 4 miles.
