The village has a pub which serves excellent food and beverages all year round, and a very convenient village store selling all essentials. Both the pub and shop are less than 200 yards from Cherry Tree Cottage. The lounge is stylish and comfortable with a cosy wood burning stove that really sets the scene on them more chilly evenings, the lounge is the perfect spot for relaxing after a day walking cycling, or horse riding in the Cheviot Hills. The kitchen/diner is the social hub of the cottage, a real generous space with exposed stone walls and sky lights making this room light, bright, and airy. The kitchen is well equipped and really feels home from home. From the kitchen leads you to the rear patio, a fabulous place to relax on them hot summer evenings raising a toast to happy memories! Once the evening draws in choose one of four luxurious bedrooms, two occupy the ground floor and two on the first floor. The facilities are also on the ground floor making this property easily accessible.

Steeped in history and surrounded by Northumberland’s vast countryside and foothills, you will not be disappointed with this picturesque gem. Only 9 minutes away (4 miles) brings you to the gateway to the Cheviot Hills, Wooler. The market town of Wooler is a great base for keen walkers who are looking to make the most of the Northumberland countryside and wanting to visit the Cheviot Hills and Northumberland National Park for some fantastic walking and stunning scenery. Cherry Tree Cottage is a very short drive from Wooler High Street, with a variety of independent shops, cafés and pubs, and 5 minutes’ walk from the River Till and Doddington Milk Bar. Bamburgh a beautiful coastal town with its famous castle is 10 miles away and well worth a visit.
