Move from the kitchen into the welcoming sitting room, boasting a woodburning stove, perfect for the Winter months, Smart TV and DVD player and leading out via the fully opening French Windows to a spacious balcony, overlooking the beauty of the surrounding gardens and hills beyond, This room is sure to be the social hub of your holiday. Grange has several of the usual supermarkets, with larger superstores to be found in the town of Kendal, some of whom can deliver. Within the Lake District National Park (a UNESCO World Heritage Centre) you’ll find abundant walking and cycling routes all around, with Tarn Hows, Old Man of Coniston and Blencathra being just a few of our favourites all benefitting from being just a scenic car journey away, Several romantic Lake Cruises operate from the different lakes. In easy reach, Lake Windermere, with its rich heritage and connection to the homes of Beatrix Potter of Peter Rabbit fame, the poet William Wordsworth and John Ruskin, 19th century philosopher and champion of the Arts and Crafts movement, offers a plethora of watersporting activities and the town of Kendal also offers all kinds of family-friendly attractions, Fell Foot is the ultimate choice for an escape to one of the countries most beautiful World Heritage sites.
