With a bright and airy space, large flat screen TV and free Wi-Fi it is an ideal choice for families and friends of all ages to come away and relax. The hot tub is just outside, with a screened area and canopy offering privacy, with a barbecue and seating area this is a perfect area for total relaxation and chill out time.
Percy Woods is a well-established country park with a small golf club bar on site perfect for making some new friends. This is a great central location for discovering the Northumberland Heritage coast and surrounding countryside, including castles, stately homes, market towns, pretty villages and beaches. On-site there’s a children’s adventure playground area set close to the entrance away from the lodge, multi-purpose games court, social areas and plenty of woodland walks.
Within walking distance of a small Northumbrian village, Swarland, where you can have afternoon tea at the local coffee shop. In the evening relax with a drink at Swarland village club which often hosts live acts and bingo. The surrounding villages are a fabulous chance to sample some Northumbrian hospitality. Alnwick is home to the majestic castle featured in Harry Potter and Downton Abbey, and here you can discover the cobbled streets and the friendly cafes and pubs. The stunning heritage coast is easily reached via the nearby road network ensuring easy access to all the top visitor attractions throughout this diverse and friendly county. Discover Roman Forts over at Hadrian’s Wall or travel north up to Berwick on Tweed close to the Scottish Borders.
