Honey Bee Cottage is a beautiful, no smoking, dog-friendly cottage, perfect for a romantic break or family get away. With large gardens to enjoy, you really will be able to unwind here. The cottage has been decorated and furnished beautifully, and you will find this to be very comfortable. You will be greeted with a welcome pack, which the host will send you a request before your arrival.
Picturesque Winkle Street in Calbourne was originally known as Barrington Row, and it was named after the Barrington family who owned the estate when the first cottages were built in the 1750’s. You will almost certainly be visited by families of ducks that will be eager to be fed. Just a couple of minutes’ drive and you will find Calbourne Water Mill and Rural Museum. Set in 35 acres of rural landscape, this is the only working water mill on the Isle of Wight. Calbourne offers good accessibility by bicycle to the Military Road which is a cyclist’s paradise. There is a secure bike storage should you require. Head on to the west coast of the Isle of Wight where you will find the ancient town of Yarmouth with its plentiful restaurants, shops and bars.
Further west and you will find the most beautiful beaches, along with the iconic, famous landmark attraction, The Needles, which has so much more to enjoy than the stunning views - it is a destination not to be missed. The range of attractions includes the spectacular chairlift ride, taking you on a journey past the coloured sands cliffs of Alum Bay to the beach. Soak up the breathtakingly beautiful views from the beach and enjoy a paddle in the sea. Or get closer to The Needles by taking a pleasure cruise - the sunsets are incredible here.

Coastal Soul has an open-plan living area, combined with the kitchen and dining areas. The living area has a Smart TV with Freeview and Wi-Fi, making this a great place to chill out after a day exploring. Relax into the three-seater sofa or armchair, or step through sliding doors out to the garden which has a large table and chairs/bench with cushions and barbecue (utensils provided) and relax in the summer sun with a glass of your favourite tipple. The kitchen has everything you need to cook up a storm whilst chatting with friends or family in this great social space. Don’t worry about washing up as there is even a dishwasher and washing machine! On the first floor, retreat to one of the two bedrooms for a restful night’s sleep, and you will also find the bathroom on this floor equipped with a shower and bath, for your choice of a relaxing soak or a quick rinse.
Coastal Soul is situated in the seaside village of Lake (between Sandown and Shanklin). Take a 5-minute walk down the path to the sandy beach and promenade which links Sandown to Shanklin. There you will find a friendly café and public restroom, meaning you can spend the whole day on the beach! The coastal path takes you to the public lift in Shanklin where you can find cafés, ice cream shops, crazy golf and amusement arcades.
The Isle of Wight is renowned for having a warm, sunny climate, and there are plenty of tourist attractions you can enjoy in the sun. Discover quaint villages, indulge in cream teas, and enjoy local produce, including garlic at The Garlic Farm, adventure parks, museums, zoo, donkey sanctuary, wildlife centres, the Isle of Wight Pearl Factory, The Needles landmark, traditional pottery, vineyards, steam railway, pretty coves and much more.

As you enter Zues you are greeted by a well-equipped and beautifully furnished apartment. The apartment has an open plan living area, which means you are not missing out on the fun whilst you are cooking. There is a double bedroom and a lovely bathroom with a shower. Zues has an outside seating area where you can relax with your morning coffee or maybe a glass of wine in the evening.
What is truly amazing about Zues is that you can walk to the beach in under 10 minutes. There are many bars and restaurants locally, some on the seafront itself and there is a fabulous cocktail bar on the high street. You can pick up your groceries here as there are two supermarkets in Sandown and corner shops too. There is a revetment walkway from Sandown which takes you to the neighbouring resort of Shanklin. Here you will find the famous Old Village and Shanklin Chine. There are great transport links in Sandown, you can ride the train and visit Ryde, a Victorian town with many bars and restaurants. Or you can hop on a bus to explore the island; in the summer months, there is an open top bus.
The Isle of Wight has lots of must-see attractions including Blackgang Chine, the UK’s oldest amusement park and The Needles, the island’s iconic landmark attraction. This Shepherd’s Hut with stunning views, hot tub and private use of the indoor pool has direct access to Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty South Coast paths, pubs and shops. The living area has stable doors from which to enjoy the uninterrupted valley views, and the dining furniture can be used inside or out. The bedroom area with a wardrobe and storage, has a double bed made up of quality linens, that can be stored vertically for extra space. The garden is enclosed and partly sheltered and has a fire pit and undercover area with fairy lights, a worktop, sink, BBQ (including starter coals) and loungers to soak up the great views. This is an area with low light pollution and the Protected Sky Status for star gazing! Visitors have direct access to 2-acre dog walking paddocks and further Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty Isle of Wight paths. There is a shared indoor heated swimming pool and private use can be arranged with the owner prior to arrival.

You are welcome to join the owners for a walk or cycle to the nearby St Catherine’s Oratory or ‘Pepperpot’, as it is known locally, or into the close by villages of Whitell and Niton, with many options to venture further afield.

St Helens is a coastal village on the east side of the island, with a village pub and shop just a moment’s stroll away from Coed Faen. There is a large village green that offers excellent views over the busy harbour of Bembridge, and is also home to the ruins of St Helens Church which was destroyed by a wave in the 18th century. A lovely beach is not far away either, making this location lots of fun for the kids and adults alike. Despite being a small village St Helens has some great places to eat. There are a couple of popular restaurants and cafés, one of which sits beach-side down at the Duver. The Isle of Wight has lots to offer. Cycle to the famous Needles landmark at Alum Bay, with its coloured sand cliffs and chairlift to the beach, or take on the full round the island route which is 66 miles long, and is used for the annual Isle of Wight Randonnee. Travel along the route at a more leisurely pace, and along the way you will find numerous restaurants, pubs and cafés serving tasty local produce amongst the quaint villages and towns.

Colwell Bay has a reputation as being one of the cleanest beaches on the Isle of Wight and is also one of the most popular too. If you are keen to try water sports during your stay, this is the place to get started. The pretty promenade stretches all the way along to neighbouring Totland Bay, and it makes the perfect place for a stroll as the sun begins to fade in the distance. One of the biggest draws of Colwell Bay is its beachside café/restaurant, which welcomes visitors into the shade where they can enjoy hot food and drink with a view of the sea.
