    The property is located in the grounds of Hillview Arena and Stables, and you are directly beside a bridle path. The owners offer riding holidays by prior arrangement. Here, your horse can be accommodated during your stay at the cottage, in the 12x12 stables or fenced turnout area. You would also have access to use of the two arenas and show jumps. If you are interested in bringing your horse along for the fun, please call the owner to discuss.

Chaddesley Woods is an area of woodland and nature reserve on one side of the village with a network of public footpaths to explore the area. Also within the village is the luxury Brockencote Hall where you can fine dine in their 3 AA Rosette restaurant or you can visit the Grade I listed 11th-century church of St Cassian’s.
    There is plenty to keep everyone amused in the nearby area including the West Midland Safari Park, the open air Avoncroft Museum, Severn Valley Steam Railway, the Georgian town of Bewdley sitting on the River Severn, the transport museum, National Trust properties including Kinver Edge and the Rock Houses, Knowles Mill and Hanbury Hall and Gardens. For the more active, you can try your hand at sailing at the nearby Upton Warren Sailing Club or Chelmarsh Sailing Club, fishing, canoeing and golf are close by and the owner can arrange guest access at Cutnall Green Tennis Club during your stay. Bromsgrove is 5 miles away and offers more extensive shopping and leisure facilities, as does the equidistant town of Kidderminster. The Wyre Forest, with all its walks and cycle tracks, is just 7 minutes drive away.
    The Old Rope Works manufactured hand made rope and twine from 1801 to 1972. A display of its equipment and products is on display in Bewdley museum. The building has been lovingly transformed and restored into a luxurious, spacious, bright, contemporary, cosy home whilst retaining the huge character and quirkiness of the original factory. There are original beams, hard floors, bare brick walls throughout, and the working bell tower that once called in its workers.
    On the ground floor you have a contemporary kitchen with breakfast seating area and 30" TV, a dining room with the double bedroom off to the left and the luxurious bathroom off to the right, fitted with bath walk-in shower and underfloor mood lighting. On the first floor you have a spacious living room with the original bell still in the roof, double glazed sash windows and cast iron radiators, the master bedroom with en-suite shower room and final single bedroom lead off from the living room. At the rear of the property, through a gated entrance is an enclosed courtyard with very high walls, ideal for children and pets alike. It features garden furniture and a gas BBQ, a real sun trap all afternoon until sunset so great to relax and dine al fresco. There is also a store off the courtyard for cycling and fishing equipment with a wash down hose outside.
    The property is in a superb location with the Severn Valley Railway 50 yards from the property and local shop, pubs and restaurant just 100 yards away. There is parking for 2 cars on the property’s private driveway.
