Lambourne House is set in very spacious 4½ acres of landscaped gardens in the Lincolnshire countryside, which are shared with four other adjoining holiday cottages. Just 10 minutes’ drive from Skegness are the long white sands of the east coast. Lambourne House has everything needed to relax and enjoy a traditional family holiday, with five double bedrooms, expansive living rooms, a beautiful inglenook fireplace and all the luxury facilities you would expect from a house of this size, including a gym. The mature garden, with its play areas and barbecues, provides a wonderful place for family fun, and the heated indoor swimming pool ensures entertainment all year round. Off road parking in designated areas right outside the farmhouse affords easy access for loading and unloading luggage and shopping.
There is plenty to see and do in and around the area. Less than a mile away is a good pub for families, which serves both food and drink. The closest beach for lazy summer walks, building sandcastles, sunbathing or indulging in bracing winter wanderings, is 10 minutes away by road, and the nearest golf course, North Shore, is the same distance away. Keen fishermen will enjoy the coarse fishing lakes just 300 yards away.
The town of Skegness has all the facilities you would expect of an established seaside town and modern commercial centre - shops, bars, pubs, restaurants, cafés, cinema, theatre, fun fair, seaside amusements, park, aquarium, sports and fishing facilities, as well as a hospital and excellent road and rail links. Beach 2 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile.

Nearby Kirton has a good range of amenities including shops and pubs which is only a 10-minute walk away. Situated in between the historic towns of Spalding and Boston, you can visit the famous Boston ’Stump’, enjoy numerous good restaurants, shops, cafés and bars as well as the weekly markets and river boat rides.
For days out, the seaside resort of Skegness is approx. 45 minutes, and Hunstanton in Norfolk about an hour’s drive. Major cities surrounding within a 35-mile radius. Nature reserves at Frampton RSPB (10 mins car journey) and Gibraltor Point offer opportunity to see the migrating birds and wildlife as well as many miles of excellent walks. For cycle enthusiasts, there are some great cycle routes close by. While you’re surrounding yourself in romantic luxury see if you can spot the abundance of wildlife, including, squirrels, owls, bats, dragonflies, rabbits, robins, woodpeckers, various birds of prey and the occasional muntjac deer.

Close to the river bank, these three, three-storey barn conversions (refs UKC2301, UKC2302 and UKC2303) are ideal for families, groups and couples. These wonderful properties make an excellent venue for large families to get together. Each barn has its own enclosed garden with a patio and hot tub, and are in the ideal location for enjoying lovely walks along the riverside and offer good cycle routes straight from the door. Set close to the River Steeping, at the edge of the owners’ arable farm, which guests are free to explore, there is the bonus of free river fishing within the grounds (licence required). On the fringe of Wainfleet All Saints, and within short walk of a famous brewery which offers tours, an on-site pub and a bistro, these properties are perfect for exploring the area. Wainfleet is a quaint market town with and array of shops, pubs, restaurant and a railway station. The traditional seaside resort of Skegness is just 5 miles away, and has a lovely sandy beach and family entertainment, including the Fantasy Island theme park. The National Trust properties of Gunby Hall and Tattershall Castle are within easy driving distance. Visit bird and seal sanctuaries along the coast, or take a trip to medieval Lincoln, with its famous castle and cathedral, just 40 miles away, across the scenic, rolling Lincolnshire Wolds countryside. A short stroll takes you into the centre of this popular, traditional resort with its fairground, amusements, seaside shops and supermarkets, as well as a range of restaurants, takeaways and pubs to enjoy meals and drinks out.
Donna Nook is a 15-minute drive north along the coast, and is worth visiting in the seal breeding season during the winter months where there are often around 2000 pups born. They are also frequently spotted along this stretch as you stroll along the beach.
You can catch the coastal bus which will take you for family days out at Butlin’s, Fantasy island or into Skegness, with its pier, where there is something for all the family to enjoy. Pub within 1 mile.

A lovely spacious house ideal for families and couples to enjoy a holiday just 5 miles from the traditional seaside resort of Skegness. The nearby railway station means you can travel for a day out in Skegness without having to take the car and if you want to travel further afield then you can get to Grantham, Nottingham and Boston easily for days out. You can even bring your family pets, with up to three dogs welcome, but please be aware there could be cattle or sheep in adjacent fields. There are very good walks from the door with the area also being very popular for cyclists. Beach 5 miles and pub 1 mile.

Head Brewers House (formerly known as Merrilodge), the former home of George Bateman and family as well as the Head Brewer’s house. This lovely family house has a swimming pool in the large garden with an entertaining area to the side, perfect for al fresco dining. Spacious accommodation awaits you with two large living rooms. There is something for everyone to enjoy in the area; catch the bus to Fantasy island, Butlins or into the seaside resort of Skegness with its funfair, amusements, seal sanctuary, aquarium and Gibraltar Point Nature Reserve. Or travel in the other direction to Chapel St Leonards with its shops and amusements, Seascape Café where you watch the sun rise and set, Anderby Creek, as well as Sutton on Sea and Mablethorpe all along the coast to the north. There are good walks and cycle routes from the door and you can return in the evenings to the luxury and comfort of Sycamore Lodge to relax in front of your tv, or sit back in the garden and gaze at the rolling hills of the Lincolnshire Wolds in the distance. There is horse riding and coarse fishing nearby with the pub and shop 500 yds away.
